Tile Partners For Humanity Appoints New Executive Director

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 14, 2009 – Atlanta.  Tile Partners for Humanity, Inc. (TPFH), a partner with Habitat for Humanity International, announced the appointment of Lynn Labuda as the new Executive Director.  “On behalf of the Board of Directors for Tile Partners for Humanity, I am very pleased to announce the addition of Lynn Labuda as the new Executive Director. Lynn’s strategic and business expertise coupled with her passion for community service will add great value to our organization”, says Curt Rapp, Founder and Chairman of the TPFH Board of Directors.  “Lynn will play a critical leadership role in developing and implementing TPFH’s strategic plan”.
In large part to the passion and efforts of Allyson Venugopal, previous Executive Director, TPFH was able to surpass its 2003 - 2007 pledge of $1,250,000 in donations of tile, installation materials and labor to Habitat for Humanity.  In 2008, even with the economic downturn and its impact on many of our industry partners, TPFH is proud to have facilitated over $1,782,000 in donations of tile, installation materials and labor towards our new pledge to Habitat for Humanity - more than the past five years combined.

Formed in 2002, TPFH is a partnership between the tile industry and Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit organization working to eliminate substandard housing around the world. Industry partners provide tile, setting materials, tools, floor preparation materials, cleaners and sealers, labor and installation training to Habitat affiliates interested in building with tile. TPFH is a 5013c organization that grants tax relief for donations of materials or other support for our partnership.
